Original 1969 camping sites, with spaces for RVs and cars, legendary location with modern amenities


Historic Camping is located across the street from Pavilion Camping, on Best Road, approximately 4/10ths of a mile from the Pavilion or the Museum. This area hosts RVs and car camping for all types of vehicles and tent sizes.  

Historic Camping sites on Best Road are allocated as you arrive and cannot be held or reserved, so if you're planning to camp with other groups, your vehicles must arrive at the same time. Additional guest passes can be purchased for groups larger than (4). Sizes are not exact and may vary.

Shuttles are available at varying times for guests who require transportation assistance.

Premier RV

  • Spacious 30’ x 65’ gravel pad accommodating up to six people (base price includes two people, with the option to add up to four more for an additional fee).
  • Equipped with a 50-amp electric hookup, water access, and access to a dump station.
  • Includes access to nearby restrooms and shower facilities.
  • Enjoy stunning views of the Bethel Woods campus and surrounding landscape.

Car Camping

  • Approx. 30’ x 30’ grass site accommodating up to six people (base price includes two people, with the option to add up to four more for an additional fee) and one vehicle.

  • Suitable for all types of cars, large vans, and tents.

  • Includes access to nearby restrooms and shower facilities.

  • Enjoy beautiful views of the Bethel Woods campus and the surrounding landscape.

Additional guest passes can be purchased for groups larger than (4). Please be aware there is a maximum of (6) people per car camping site.
