Event Details
With guidance from experienced instructors and industry professionals, students will dive into the intricacies of storytelling, cinematography, directing, and editing, honing their skills through hands-on workshops and practical exercises, as well as an exploration that spans across genres.
As they navigate the filmmaking process from scriptwriting to post-production, your child will unleash their imagination and bring their unique visions to life on screen.
The two-week journey culminates in a premiere screening of their films for friends and family. Join us for a summer of cinematic magic!
About the Series
Peace. Love. Arts. You. Programs invite children ages 5-15 to explore the creative arts this summer at beautiful Bethel Woods, historic site of the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair!
P.L.A.Y. Special offerings create a unique opportunity for children ages 10-15 to hone in on the specifics of various arts modalities from art and music to film and theater in very specialized two-week long sessions. Guided by our Bethel Woods Teaching Artists and selected special guests, participants will engage, connect, and deepen their skills while weaving together Bethel Woods themes of community, caring, and creativity.
